You use the Include dialog box to define an include component in an XML schema file. You use an include to add multiple schemas with the same target namespace to your XML schema file.

The Include dialog box opens when you add a new include component. You can also open the Include dialog box by right-clicking an include node and choosing Customize from the pop-up menu.

• The title of the dialog box changes depending on the type of action you are performing:
  • Create a new schema component: Include
  • Modify an existing component: Include Customizer

This dialog box has the following field:

• Location. Lets you navigate to and select a schema file. You can search for files By File or By Namespace.
  
  • You can double-click a schema file node in the Location list to open that file in the Source Editor.
