Accessing the Web Service Attributes Editor

The Web Service Attributes editor helps you to generate configuration details for advanced web service features, which provide security, optimization, and reliability. The editor consists of two tabs, the Security tab and the Messaging tab.

To access the Web Service Attributes editor:

1. Create a web service.
2. In the Projects window, expand the Web Services node.
3. Right-click the node for the web service for which you want to configure security options.
4. Choose Edit Web Service Attributes.
5. In the Web Service Attributes editor, select the tab that you need. Two tabs are provided: Security and Messaging.
