This is mxconns, an X11 connection monitor.

This product is NOT in the public domain. Roughly, it belongs to CERN
and you can use the current version for non-commercial purposes. See
the enclosed COPYRIGHT for more information.

To configure it, run "./configure". Alternatively, you can use the
flags -debug (to enable debugging messages) and/or -optim (to change
the compiler optimisation, default is -O).

To compile it, run "make". The configure script is far from bullet
proof and was made only for our "reference" machines. You may have to
edit by hand the Makefile and/or Makefile.sys to make it run on your
OS. The tricky part is to find the X11 and Motif libraries (yes, Motif
is required). Any kind of improvement for the configure script is
welcome (especially using GNU autoconf)... BTW, mxconns should compile
fine on most "modern" UNIXes.

To install it, copy mxconns and mxconns.man where you want. I'll add a
"make install" target one day.

To use it, Read The Fine Man page first. Comments, improvements for
the documentation are very welcome.
